Cedar Crest College Expert Witness Training Center & Crime Scene Laboratory

Skepton Construction served as general contractor for Cedar Crest College’s new Joni Berner, Esq. ’75 Expert Witness Training Center and Crime Scene Laboratory. The facility was designed to support forensic science students, first responders, legal professionals, and others who provide courtroom testimony.

The Center includes a mock courtroom, three adaptable crime scene simulation rooms, a science lab, and professional training spaces designed to prepare participants for the complex realities of the justice system. These real-world environments allow users to strengthen skills in evidence preservation, crime scene investigation, and expert testimony.

This project expands Cedar Crest College’s capacity for hands-on learning and professional training, offering a state-of-the-art resource for the campus and surrounding community.
