Authorized Varco Pruden Builder

Varco Pruden Buildings is a division of BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. based in Memphis, Tennessee. Varco Pruden sells and engineers steel building systems for low-rise commercial applications, including manufacturing, warehouses, municipal buildings, schools, and church projects.

Varco Pruden Buildings was formed in 1968 through the merger of Varco Steel (1948) and Pruden Products (1950). In the 1980s, Varco Pruden Buildings purchased Stran Steel, the original maker of the Quonset Hut. Varco Pruden Buildings owns the name Quonset Hut. The company’s products have been recognized and approved by US Army Corps of Engineers, Underwriters Laboratories, Energy Star, Cool Roof Ratings Council, Quasar (Canada), Miami-Dade County Building Commission and Factory Mutual.

Designed and constructed an 8,900 sft facility to house the Allentown Fire Training Academy and Fire Department Operations, complete with an Emergency Operations Center and 3-bay garage area.

AMC - Allentown Commerce Center

Built a 20,000 sft PEMB independent warehouse expansion for Emmaus Commerce Center – clear span structure allows for multiple open tenant spaces.

Doylestown, PA

Doylestown Township

Currently under construction, Doylestown Parks and Recreation Community Center totaling over 17,000 sft to contain a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, kitchen, and support spaces. The building is a hybrid PEMB and conventional steel design.
