Allentown, PA
The renovation of the Cynthia L. Blaschak Softball Field at Cedar Crest College modernized the existing facility to support consistent, year-round performance. The project replaced the natural grass surface with a fully synthetic turf field designed to improve playability in varying weather conditions.
Improvements included upgraded drainage systems, enhanced lighting, spectator area upgrades, fencing and netting improvements, and integrated field branding. The work enhanced durability, operational efficiency, and overall game-day experience.
In recognition of the quality of design and construction, the project received an American Sports Builders Association Distinguished Single-Field Facility Award.
Kutztown, PA
The renovation of Keystone Field at Kutztown University transformed the existing natural grass surface into a high-use synthetic turf facility designed to serve both competitive and recreational needs. The upgraded field supports varsity athletics, club sports, intramurals, camps, and open student recreation throughout the academic year.
Improvements included installation of a multi-sport turf surface, permanent stadium lighting to extend hours of use, accessible bleacher seating, a press box, and supporting site and amenity upgrades. Construction was carefully coordinated within an active campus environment.
The completed facility provides a durable, high-performance field that accommodates collegiate competition while expanding access for the broader student population.
Allentown, PA
The FalconPlex Athletic Complex elevated Cedar Crest College’s sports facilities with the development of a modern, multi-structure campus destination. The project converted an existing grass field into an NCAA competition artificial turf field serving women’s soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse programs.
The project included construction of a 4,000 square foot field house featuring multiple locker rooms, an athletic trainer’s facility, a coaches’ and referees’ locker room, a concession area, public restrooms, a press box, and a VIP viewing suite. A concrete plaza supports game-day circulation and campus events.
The completed complex expanded year-round athletic use while enhancing recruiting, competition, and overall campus engagement.
